Stephen received a BSc with First Class Honors in Computing Science from the University of Alberta where he later went on to complete a thesis based Masters specializing in Compiler Optimizations. Stephen has worked at IBM's Toronto Software Lab in the Center for Advanced Studies (CAS). While at IBM Stephen's team was awarded the Project Team of the Year Award. Currently Stephen is working for a small start-up company in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada developing Natural Language Processing software.

Mark graduated with distinction from the Computing Science program at the University of Alberta and went on to work in the industry. Mark is currently working as a software developer for a small start-up company in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He is primarily interested in scalable software architecture, as well as technology in general and the way it impacts our lives.
